Fender Jazzmaster (1966) - SOLD
All original early 1966 transitional sunburst Fender Jazzmaster in excellent condition, with some minor wear to body and back of the neck , and usual dings for a guitar of this vintage. No touchups or overspray.
- Neck stamped 13 Jan 66 B
- Neck width 1 11/16th inches at the nut. Depth at 1st fret - 0.92". At 12th fret - 0.90"
- Neck plate serial 121xxx
- Original pots dated 41st week of '65 and 8th week of '66
- Transitional features, including bound dot neck and gold transitional logo,
- Original double line Klusons in good working order
- Frets in excellent condition
- Bridge rewound pickup by Curtis Novak (renowned pickup rewinder)
- Weight : 8 lbs 5 oz
- Tremolo arm missing, but should be possible to obtain a replacement
- Original black tolex hard case with orange lining, some wear to outside but functioning latches
- Professionally set up at the workshop with 10-46 strings.
