All original 1976 hardtail Fender Stratocaster in excellent clean condition, with original natural finish to the body. Some minor wear and the neck finish has been "reliced" for a lovely worn in feel. Very comfortable to play and a great sounding mid 70's Strat.
These hardtail Strats have a distinctive punchy tone that differs a little from the usual tremolo block model. The sound is very resonant, benefiting from transmission of the string vibration through the body.
- 1976 Serial number stamped on headstock
- Original black 3 ply scratch plate (1976 date sticker), original hardware, with original grey bottom pickups (dated 1976)
- Three bolt micro tilt neck
- Original Fender "F" stamped tuners, in good working order
- Neck has been professionally re-fretted and frets are in excellent condition with virtually no wear
- Weight : 8lb 12oz / 4kg
- Width at nut 1 5/8"
- Currently no case, but a hard case will be sourced and provided
- Professionally set up at the workshop with 10-46 strings.
